The social media and other media outlets were awash with the Jinapor family with positive and welcoming news.
This comes as a result of the President's first batch of ministerial nominees issued today which has become the talk of town.
Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor's name was part of the list as Energy Minister Designate in the second term of President John Mahama.
In our political landscape, the two brothers have dominated, and the spotlight is on the family for their involvement and contributions to both the New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom) and the National Democratic Congress, NDC.
The family is truly blessed for producing knowledgeable, vibrant, smart, skillful, and energetic individuals who are brothers from the same roots but believe in different political ideologies without any friction whatsoever.
Many would have thought that, due to their differences in political ideologies, values, and beliefs, there would have been some level of tension and friction within the family.
But they rather celebrate their differences which inure to the benefit of the two great personalities and the family at large. This is a masterclass in politics with understanding, maturity, and the display of forward thinking.
Realistically, one cannot just give credit to the two young and energetic individuals, but the respected father, who is also a revered Chief, deserves a standing ovation.
The level of audience they are gaining from Ghanaians boils down to understanding and celebration of individual success irrespective of whose political Party is in power.
In my humble opinion, it's worth noting that formal education given to the Jinapor brothers played a pivotal role when it came to their triumph in our political landscape as a Country.
Take it or leave it, parental care and control can't be swept under the carpet, as they have enjoyed proper parental care and support to realize their aspirations and ambitions in life.
In addition, being in the same family doesn't deny us the opportunity to have varied views and opinions expressed when it comes to which political Party one aligns with.
As we all know and would recall, Hon. Samuel Abu Jinapor was the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources under Former President Nana Addo until the NDC took over during the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
Fast forward, the senior brother, Hon. John Abdulai Abdul Jinapor, has been a member of Parliament for the good people of Yapei Kusaugu for the past years and has served under the NDC administration.
This brief background tells a memorable story of how we must embrace one another irrespective of the differences in our political dispensation as families, friends, brothers and sisters, etc.
Importantly, I couldn't end my thoughts on the Jinapor family trends without highlighting something significant: our Parents and families must take a cursory look at parental control, care, prayers, and being spiritually inclined to the success of our family members.
In conclusion, we are praising the family and rejoicing over their success but what are our plans towards what we have reproduced and our responsibilities? This can't be chalked on a silver platter.
To the venerable Chief, Bupiewura, I hail and give you a standing ovation for the charismatic leadership acumen in blessing Ghana with the two smart and forward-thinking energetic guys who are in the Parliament of Ghana.
May we be guided with great understanding and peaceful coexistence irrespective of our differences as People from different family backgrounds?
Shalom!
