It has come to my attention that some individuals in the New Patriotic Party are claiming that they are wealthy and, because of this, they want to become the party's flagbearer in the 2028 election. Additionally, some are claiming that they are the founders of the New Patriotic Party and, for this reason, they also want to become the flagbearer for the party.


Additionally, consider individuals who assert that they are the founders of this political party. Contemplating their self-proclaimed status as founders raises an important question about their ability to guide and shape the path to success.


If you truly are a founder, you bear the responsibility and expectation to exhibit leadership qualities alongside ample experience. Without these essential traits of effective leadership, one must wonder how you could ever hope to lead the party toward achieving electoral victory and fulfilling its goals and aspirations.


I stand here before all of you today with a compelling message to convey, emphasizing the importance of us, the dedicated members of the New Patriotic Party, of carefully considering who we choose to lead us into the crucial 2028 election. It is vital for our future that we not be swayed merely by financial status or the founding legacy of an individual, but instead focus on finding a leader endowed with a wealth of innovative and insightful ideas.


These ideas should inspire and guide us, paving the way toward prosperity and progress while upholding our party's values and objectives. This leader will be a beacon of vision and foresight, possessing the intellectual vigor to navigate the complexities of political challenges, ensuring our principles are not compromised, and facilitating growth and success for our party and ultimately for our nation.


The reason I, Abdul Jalil Opele, propose that we select an individual with abundant and innovative ideas to become the flagbearer for our patriotic party is that such a person possesses the ability to impart valuable knowledge on how to attain wealth and achieve financial success.


Unlike someone who is already affluent, whose guidance might largely revolve around spending money rather than generating it, a visionary with enriching ideas can provide insights into creating opportunities and fostering entrepreneurial growth.


If we take advice from a wealthy individual who focuses solely on expenditure, particularly when dealing with funds that do not exist initially, it can lead to financial mismanagement and insufficient financial planning.


Therefore, the most prudent course of action would be to align ourselves with a leader whose resourceful and constructive ideas can pave the way to genuine wealth creation, teaching us strategies and techniques crucial for developing prosperity and sustaining it over time.
